Aikido of Richmond
A member ot the Ki Shin Kai Aikido organization. Teaching Suenaka Style Aikido. We provide effective self-defense training while maintaining a safe and enjoyable training environment. The Premier Aikido School in Richmond since 1990.



Chief Instructor:
 Shihan Steven Steele - started Aikido in 1980 under Sensei Roy Suenaka in Charleston, South Carolina. Shihan Steele trained in Suenaka's Charleston Dojo for ten years before moving to Richmond and opening Aikido of Richmond. He was awarded the rank of Rokudan (6th degree Black Belt) in Aikido in 2002.

 Aikido of Richmond is conveniently located in the West End area of Richmond, at the corner of West Broad St. and Hungry Springs Rd. It is on the Hungary Springs side of the Old Towne Shopping Center - 2753 Hungary Springs Rd., Richmond, Virginia (804) 217-9222.
