Rod Kiefer, Sensei – started Aikido in 1991 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 2000. 

Craig Tolbert, Sensei – started Aikido in 1992 under Shihan Fen Ackerman in Atlanta.  He was awarded the rank of Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 2001.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) by the Ki Shin Kai organization in 2004.

Mike Moore, Sensei – started Aikido in 1993 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 1997.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) by the Ki Shin Kai organization in 2007.

Jermaine Alley, Sensei – started Aikido in 1998 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 2001.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) by the Ki Shin Kai organization in October, 2007.

Tom O’Brien, Sensei – started Aikido in 1998 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 2002.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) by the Ki Shin Kai organization in October, 2007.

Brian Lawton, Sensei – started Aikido in 1998 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by Sensei Suenaka in 2003.  He was awarded the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) by the Ki Shin Kai organization in April, 2008.

Chris Flinn, Sensei – started Aikido in 2002 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by the Ki Shin Kai organization in October, 2006.

Rawton Layne, Sensei – started Aikido in 2001 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by the Ki Shin Kai organization in October, 2007.


Jason Rhodes, Sensei – started Aikido in 2004 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by the Ki Shin Kai organization in October, 2007.

Jason Jahn, Sensei – started Aikido in 2003 under Shihan Steele in Richmond.  He was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Aikido by the Ki Shin Kai organization in April, 2008.
